An active member of the International Bullying Prevention Association, the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, Colleen Davoren is the author of three Children's books about bullying; The Little Pig Who Lost His Jig , Miss Clairelle is Afraid to Tell, and Young Munroe Needs a Hero. The first book The Little Pig Who Lost His Jig, made it to Amazon's best sellers lists in both the U.S, the U.K, and Ireland.
The second book Miss Clairelle is Afraid to Tell, is now followed up with her NBA Authorized Young Munroe Needs a Hero
Colleen had a very happy childhood growing up in the Midwest. The worst part was a period where she was bullied daily in middle school.
Colleen is very happily married and a mother to four amazing sons.
Colleen volunteers her time reading books to children all over the U.S. and Ireland.
Her mission statement is to leave a positive message to empower each child to make a difference in the world.

Trip to Ballymaloe Cookery School
Celebrity Chef Darina Allen - who I am a longtime fan of - is Ireland's most famous chef and founder of the world renowned Ballymaloe Cookery School gave me her kind permission to use her recipes in my two Children's books. I was invited for lunch at the Ballymaloe Cookery School. Darina, Sharon, and her brother Rory O’ Connell, Florence, and all her staff gave me and my Husband a wonderful lunch and day. They were so warm and welcoming. I truly admire Darina she is an amazing lady that has accomplished so much in her life and yet she is so gracious and unassuming.
It was a most memorable day!
Second Book Released

This is a follow up to my first book, The Little Pig Who Lost His Jig. Both titles are available on Kindle and paperback via Amazon.
